This session discusses various packet capturing tools available on Cisco switches and routers. The purpose of the session is to highlight the tools and provide real world examples where they can be effectively applied to isolate a problem. The tools discussed are the same used by TAC to isolate the most difficult problems. These include Embedded Packet Capture, Flexible Netflow (FnF), (R)(ER)SPAN, Ethanalyzer, and more. This session is useful for network engineers who are responsible for configuring and troubleshooting Service Provider, Enterprise and Data Center Networks. Prior experience with IOS, IOS-XE, and NX-OS is useful but not required.
